Time to Perform
The spotlight is about to shine on a stunning 2022 Road Glide St as it makes its way across Canada for the highly anticipated motorcycle show circuit. We picked up this Road Glide from Wolverine Harley-Davidson in Clinton Township, and this bike is getting a full makeover in preparation for its debut in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal throughout January and February.
The Vision for the Road Glide
The Road Glide is set to be transformed into a show-stopping masterpiece, showcasing cutting-edge design and top-tier performance parts. At the heart of this revamp is a custom paint job spearheaded by Raf, our head painter. Drawing inspiration from the 1970s while integrating a modern twist, Raf plans to incorporate dark hues with eye-catching metallic flakes that complement the bike’s titanium bronze accents.
Alongside the custom paintwork, the build will feature:
- A HOGWORKZ outer fairing for a sleeker aesthetic.
- Brand-new performance saddlebags, debuting at the Canadian shows.
- A chopped rear fender and performance side covers for added flair.
- Custom-designed floorboards, flush-mount gas caps, and a tank dash tailored specifically for Road Glides with side-mount fuel caps.
Behind-the-Scenes Prep
Before the bike hits the road, the team has a meticulous plan in place. The OEM outer fairing is being swapped for a HOGWORKZ upgrade, and the gas tank is prepped for Raf’s artistry. Every step of the process is deliberate, from selecting the perfect blend of black and bronze gold flake paint to ensuring the patterns flow seamlessly across the bike’s frame.
The goal? To showcase the full range of possibilities with this Road Glide while introducing their innovative performance accessories to a new audience.
A First for Canada
This event marks our team’s first time exhibiting in Canada, despite years of collaboration with Canadian dealers and power sports shops. We’re excited to meet new enthusiasts, strengthen relationships, and make our mark on the Canadian motorcycle scene.
