Road Glide LED Headlight Install from HOGWORKZ® (2015-2024)

Buzz Free Anti-Interference Design There is no shortage of cheap LED solutions, but saving a penny might net you a buzzing headlight that cripples your bike's radio signal. HOGWORKZ® specifically designed their LED Headlights to use anti-interference electronics and passive (no hum) cooling. Gain the full advantage of an LED Headlight without losing a radio signal.
1. Protect Your Fender:
- Cover your front fender to prevent scratches.
2. Remove Windshield:
- Using an Allen wrench, loosen and remove the four bolts securing the windshield.
- Carefully remove the windshield and trim piece.
3. Remove Vent Visor:
- Locate the two push pins underneath the vent visor.
- Gently pull the vent visor to release it.
- Remove the two additional push pin grommets.
4. Unclip Wire Harnesses:
- Disconnect the two wire harnesses located behind the vent visor.
5. Remove Air Deflectors:
- Use a Torx 25 screwdriver to remove the air deflectors on both sides of the fairing.
6. Remove Speaker Grilles:
- Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry up the speaker grilles.
- Carefully pull the grilles out, releasing the clips.
7. Remove Speaker Grille Screws:
- Using a Torx 30 screwdriver, remove the screw located behind each speaker grille.
8. Remove Full Fairing:
- Loosen the bolts on each side of the turn signal. (These bolts secure the entire fairing.)
- Carefully remove the final screw on each side.
- Gently pull the fairing forward to detach it.
9. Remove Headlight Trim:
- Use a Torx 25 screwdriver to remove the headlight trim pieces.
10. Remove Headlight:
- Using the correct tool, remove the four bolts securing the headlight (two on top, two on bottom).
- Pull the headlight out and disconnect the wire harness.
11. Connect HOGWORKZ Headlight:
- Connect the HOGWORKZ LED headlight to the motorcycle's wire harness.
- Install the new headlight using the four bolts removed earlier.
- Fully tighten the screws.
12. Install Integrated Fairing Signals:
- Push the HOGWORKZ integrated fairing signals into the existing OEM holes.
- Secure the signals using the hardware from the original headlight trim pieces.
13. Plugin Turn Signals:
- Connect the new fairing signal wire harness to the motorcycles existing signal harness.
- Ensure the other connection is ready to connect to the fairing when reinstalled.
14. Final Steps:
- Ensure all connections are secure.
- Test the headlight and turn signals to verify proper operation.
