1. Remove Saddlebags (if installed):
- Unlock the saddlebags:
Pull the lever toward you and turn to the unlock position.
Wait for the flag to pop up. - Slide the bag backward slightly to remove it from the mount.

2. Remove OEM Saddlebag Docking Mounts:
- Use a T45 Torx wrench to remove the existing saddlebag docking hardware.
3.Identify the Correct Docking Hardware Kit:
- With Saddlebags: Use the kit with extra grommets (for both bags and bar).
- Without Saddlebags: Use the kit meant for bar-only use.

Option A: Installing Docking Hardware WITHOUT Saddlebags
- Identify and Use Spacers:
2mm spacer grommets → Front
5mm spacer grommets → Rear - Install Docking Hardware:
Use a 7/32” Allen wrench.
Hold the backing plate (threaded nut inside fender) while tightening the grommet bolts.

Option B: Installing Docking Hardware WITH Saddlebags
- Note the Layout:
Outer grommets → Hold the saddlebags
Inner grommets → Accept the backrest bar - Install Docking Hardware:
2mm spacer grommets → Front
5mm spacer grommets → Rear
Hold the backing plate in place while screwing bolts in using a 7/32” Allen wrench.

4. Attach the Backrest Bar
- Insert Front Mounts First: Slide the front bar ends into the front grommets.
- Lower the Backrest:
Align rear latches with the rear grommets.
Snap or clip the latches into place securely on both sides. - Tip: Install the bar before reinstalling the saddlebags for easier access.

5. Reattach the Saddlebags
- Align the bag with the docking location.
- Slide it into position, ensuring the fork is properly lined up.
- Open the bag, re-lock the lever mechanism.
- Confirm it’s securely latched.
